Good Evening Hawks!
It's been a beautiful day here across Grand Forks, but temperatures have certainly been on the cooler side. We'll be tracking this cooldown over the next several days as it continues to impact the region. We will see a brief warmup for the weekend, with highs flirting with the mid-upper 60's, but that will be short lived as yet another shot of cool air enters the region from Canada early next week. Looking at the long term trends, this looks likely to stick with us through the first half of May, so if you're waiting for summertime temps, you might have to look towards later in the month.
In terms of rainfall, we also look likely to stay on the drier side. Aside from a few isolated rain chances early next week, the Northern RRV looks to stay pretty dry as we go through the next week. So, good news if you're looking to run some errands around town, but unfortunately for farmers, it looks like rainfall will be a concern for a little while.
