It's been a very chilly start to the week so far, with high temperatures today only topping out in the 40's for most across the Northern Valley. Additionally, we even saw rain and snow showers impacting campus earlier today; even though it might say spring on the calendar, our weather doesn't always want to cooperate! We can expect to see even more chances for mixed precip continue throughout the next several hours, but things should start quieting down pretty quickly after sunset once we lose our solar heating and resulting instability. Overnight, expect clearing skies and dropping temperatures, with most of us waking up to temperatures in the 20's by tomorrow morning. If you're trying to get a garden going or have any potted plants ready to go, definitely hold off until at least the end of this week before putting them outside!
